Skill Management
Assigning employees who have the right knowledge to the right place at the right time and with optimal costs are the goals of skill management.
Qualifications, knowledge, abilities, experiences, contacts and social authority of any adjustment are called skills. In particular also the so called soft skills belong here, e.g. leadership experience or motivation ability. Skill management means entering the existing skills of the employees making enquiries about this data and provide analyses. Thus, employees can be assigned to the appropriate project activities or in accordance with the project goals their skills can be extended. That can be achieved e.g. with training courses or further education or the assistance in projects as a trainee.
Beside the master data of an employee and his classification within the company structure, we distinguish the following categories:
General skills (static, personal)
Job-specific skills (static/dynamic, personal)
Process and project-related skills (dynamic, personal)
Contact data (dynamic, personal)
Training on the job (dynamic, personal)
Social skills (dynamic, personal)
Requirement skills (static, not personal)
Use this information for your enterprise. In PAVONE Project Management they are already implemented. Convince yourself.
