Integration of Office Suites

PAVONE products have had an interface to Office Suites for ten years. It means using convenient word processing and calculation in Office suites,
like IBM Lotus Symphony, Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org seamlessly integrated into communication and coordination tasks as well as knowledge management.
The interface developed by PAVONE can be purchased separately. It creates an added value to any IBM Lotus Notes/Domino database.
It can be used for reporting, controlling up to company-specific checklists.
In particular, the integration of the free application of OpenOffice.org lets you carry out cost-effective business processes.
PAVONE customers have been using the bidirectional web-enabled interface for Office Suites for many years. Typical application scenarios are:
measurement tables, issue reports, risk analyses and change requests, „actuals & estimates“ reports, „financial management“ reports, „progress reports“,
final reports or offer configurations. What is new now is that the free alternatives to Microsoft Office can also be used: IBM Lotus Symphony and OpenOffice.org - licence-free word processing and Office calculation.
The transfer of documents is made possible by the interface tool PAVONE OfficeGateway. It creates the connection between convenient word processing and
calculation in Office packages and the communication -, coordination and knowledge management platform IBM Lotus Notes/Domino.
