PAVONE wins the Innovation Award

PAVONE has won the Innovation Award of the Initiative for Small and Medium-sized Businesses in the category "Office" with its software product PAVONE OfficeGateway.

Since 2004, the prize has been awarded by an independent jury of experts and IT journalists from the Initiative for Small and Medium-sized Businesses to companies that offer innovative products, services and solutions with outstanding benefits for small and medium-sized businesses. The INNOVATION Award ceremony took place at the CeBIT 2008 exhibition in the exhibition area of Baden-Württemberg. The jury selected the prize winners from a pool of 1,600 applications. Germano Vilabril, Senior Product Marketing Consultant, represented PAVONE at the event to accept the award.

PAVONE OfficeGateway integrates the convenient word processing and calculation features of office suites
like Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org with the communication, coordination and knowledge management features of applications based on the IBM Lotus Notes/Domino platform. The extendable interface developed by PAVONE can be purchased individually to add value to any IBM Lotus Notes/Domino database. It can be used for reporting, controlling and management of company-tailored templates. Support for the free OpenOffice.org is especially helpful in implementing cost-effective business processes.
