OpenOffice.org and PAVONE: A strong team

Inexpensive and productively with a bidirectional interface

PAVONE has been offering the integration to Office Suites for over ten years. OpenOffice.org, the free open source alternative for text processing and spread-sheet calculations, is now being integrated into the complete product range of PAVONE software. PAVONE application data from document management over CRM and project management can be exchanged with the open source program. The integration tool developed by PAVONE can be acquired separately and used with existing IBM Lotus Notes/domino databases to add additional value. This makes the implementation of your business processes cost effective, since OpenOffice.org is free.

Customers of PAVONE have been using web-enabled bidirectional interface to Office Suites for a long time. Typical application scenarios are: Reports, risk analysis, change requests, financial reports, progress reports, summaries and offers.

A great alternative to Microsoft Office can finally be used - OpenOffice.org, the free solution for text processing and Office calculation.

The transfer of documents is made possible by the integration tool PAVONE OfficeGateway. It creates a connection between text processing and calculation in Office packages and the communication, coordination and knowledge management platform IBM Lotus Notes / Domino.

OpenOffice.org is the first office suite to use the new OASIS OpenDocument format, the future-proof international standard for office software. OpenOffice.org is able to use existing files from Microsoft Office and WordPerfect.
