The usage of the neutral methodology (PMG) and the implementation within PAVONE Project Management achieves the required usage for all project types and leads to a visible improvement of the transparency of started and future IT projects of the Linde AG. Intelligent filtering mechanisms offer the opportunity to show the project portfolio by different criteria and requirements. For example filtering criteria like starting year, project status, company, project type, project manager or project responsible can be used.
Based on the scalability of PAVONE Project Management, all project sizes from very small to large projects can be carried out side by side. All basic requirements have been fulfilled. In addition, the reporting functionality, time reporting and portfolio management are usable from all worldwide locations via the web based Linde Project Portal. Small and medium sized projects can be planned via the web browser, using the PAVONE Java Gantt Chart, but complex projects need to be planned from within the Lotus Notes Client in conjunction with MS Project. In later versions of PAVONE Project Management it will be possible to use Microsoft Project for planning via the Web browser, too.
